    Creando un hogar a través del sonido: Las huellas acústicas de la migración hondureña en Barcelona

    Partiendo de una indagación general sobre cómo las sonoridades, naturales, artificiales o socialmente creadas, participan en la percepción de una movilidad vivida y en el proceso de relacionarse con el espacio, mi Trabajo de Fin de Maestría[1] se ha dedicado a explorar las memorias de los sonidos que acompañan un itinerario migratorio, así como sus potenciales actualizaciones y reverberaciones emocionales en el caso de migrantes hondureñas en la periferia de Barcelona. Entendiendo que los sentidos pueden facilitar a las personas en movilidad en acercar una localidad pasada en su presente (Miranda-Nieto & Boccagni, 2020) y “navegando” entre una antropología del sonido, las movilidades, la memoria y las emociones, las arquitecturas sonoras relatadas dentro de este estudio revelan que, con el propósito de sentirse como en casa, las participantes repiten prácticas resonantes que son para ellas familiares, mientras que este proceso auditivo, asignando y retratando cualidades espaciales ya estimadas, efectúa una reapropiación íntima del espacio, una construcción de “sentido de lugar”, como explicaría Yi-Fu Tuan (Tuan, 1977), y una sensación de “interioridad” en un nuevo escenario urbano. Este proceso de familiarización implica, más allá, la reproducción de apegos sensoriales al lugar (Caro, 2019), desde un acercamiento activo a localidades que ponen en marcha la memorización auditiva, que se sienten como un refugio, que se asocian con recuerdos y se anhelan, indicando cómo las personas persiguen situarse en un entorno sonoro que les “lleve” hacia su lugar de origen, que les permita reencontrarse y reproducir sus vínculos con él para orientarse en su ciudad actual, remodelarla como su hogar y sentir que pertenecen.
